Halloween and Samhain are my favorite holidays and autumn is my favorite season so I wanted to do something special on my blog in October.

If you had to pick one, what book is your Halloween must-read?
Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell
Why did you choose this book?
It’s a cute graphic novel that breathes fall. It’s set in a pumpkin patch and the visuals just put you in the mood.
If you had to pick 3 words to describe this book what would they be?

I want to read The Wicked Deep, Slayer, and The Hazel Wood for the first time, while re-reading the Hush, Hush series!

I’m a mood reader and I read a little bit of everything. I read a lot of young adult literature, but lately I’ve been diving into adult books and loving the swim. I enjoy all genres, so you’ll see a good variety here.
I’ve been an avid reader for most of my life and I proudly drive those around me crazy with my book talk. I vented about books I hated, books that disappointed me despite my yearning to love them, and raved about my faves. I would talk until their eyes glazed over.
That’s when I got the crazy idea to talk on the internet about books instead of my bored relatives and friends. When I told my family this, a comment was made: “Good, you’ll be with your own kind!”

I live in Colorado Springs (just moved here a year ago from Phoenix, AZ) with my gorgeous fiance.
I am not only an avid reader, but an aspiring writer. One of my dreams is to be published and purchase my book at a bookstore.
I love me some video games. I’m into RPGs mostly: Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and the like. My fiance and I stream Pokemon a few days a week on Twitch. Check us out!
